SONIA ELISHEVA
British singer and songwriter SONIA ELISHEVA blends cocktail-bar vocal jazz, night-bus banter and sweaty club nights into a sound with a distinctly London sensibility. Her writing is playful, irreverent and often deceptively light, exploring themes of identity, home and illusion.
Her music has amassed millions of streams on Spotify, with her debut album ‘Black Sea’ alone surpassing half a million. The album was supported by Spotify editorial placements including New Music Friday UK and Jazz UK, alongside radio support from BBC Introducing. In 2025, Sonia embarked on her first international tour, with headline shows in Paris, Vienna and London, alongside dates across the Baltic States and Balkans, with performances ranging from intimate sets to her full 7-piece live band.
Her forthcoming second album ‘Illusions’ dismantles the ideas we build our lives around. ‘Playground’, the first single, is out September 2026.
